Every beginning has within it the seeds of its own end. The Fehu means “wealth” and symbolizes two branches which grow off of a tree, or two horns.

The symbol itself could represent the upper branches of Yggdrasil, a flower opening to receive the sun (SOWILO is the next rune in the futhark after all,) the antlers of the elk, the Valkyrie and her wings, or the invoker stance common to many of the world’s priests and shamans.

Berkana is an ancient Norse word for birch tree, and symbolically stands as the Norse rune for growth and rebirth. Berkana requires the qualities of modesty, patience, fairness and generosity.
